Top 100 Prospects
Kevin McGonigle is the top prospect in baseball. The Tigers shortstop reached the fourth spot on our list two months ago and now climbs to the top. He has been sensational this season, destroying High-A to the tune of a .462 OBP and 1.110 OPS before being promoted to Double-A. With elite decision-making, contact skills, and a slick glove at shortstop, he has earned the number one slot.
Konnor Griffin soars to number two. One of the most physically gifted athletes in the 2024 draft has crafted his tools into superstar upside this year. Griffin is hitting .332 in his first full professional season with 13 home runs and 46 stolen bases. Oh, and he has blossomed into an elite shortstop despite some concerns he could stick there coming out of the draft.
Konnor Griffin since returning from the All-Star break:

.921 OPS

Plenty of prospects rise up the list every update with some jumping onto it for the first time!
Carson Benge continues to rise. One of the biggest risers in June has jumped all the way into the top 20 in this update. The Mets prospect has only gotten better upon promotion to Double-A with a 1.046 OPS and more walks than strikeouts in his first 21 games at the level.
Edward Florentino debuts at 31 as top non-draft newcomer. The Pirates 18-year-old prospect has surged into the upper tier of prospects by posting a 1.032 OPS with 13 homers and 22 stolen bases in his first 57 games stateside, split between the complex and Single-A.

Carter Jensen is looking like the heir to Salvy. The Royals catching prospect impressed us all at the Futures Game in Atlanta with his monster BP homers. He’s having a great season and should be a big piece in Kansas City next year and beyond.
Payton Tolle is the next Boston pitching lab product. The left-hander debuts in the top half of the list after striking out 110 batters in just 72.2 innings in his first professional season so far.
Owen Caissie rises after huge season. The Cubs prospect has been one of the best hitters in MiLB this season, reestablishing himself as an elite prospect.

Systems Thriving
While some organizations tend to remain deep with future talent, others have taken noticeable steps forward with their player development of late.
Mariners system is stacked with seven prospects. Seattle has featured one of the better systems over the past few years and this time is not different. With Kade Anderson now added into the fold, their young core is as strong as ever.
Brewers have a trio of top 15 prospects. Milwaukee is on an insane run at the big league level and they boast one of the best development systems. In addition to Jacob Misiorowski becoming a star in their rotation, they have two incredible teenage prospects in Jesus Made and Luis Peña.
