2025 MLB Draft Board

Just Baseball’s Top Draft Prospect is…Florida State’s Jamie Arnold! Hello there, and welcome to the #1 spot, Mr. Arnold. The Top 200 MLB Draft Prospects board has changed a lot since our release in January and Arnold comes in at our top ranking.

The southpaw is off to an incredible start for the Florida State Seminoles, posting a 3-1 record with a .186 batting average against. Arnold has pitched 29.1 innings so far this season across six starts, striking out 38 batters.

Notable risers across the board. A few notable players jumping significant spots are right-handed pitcher Patrick Forbes, outfielder Korbyn Dickerson, and prep shortstop Steele Hall.

Billy Carlson is top prep player in the draft. Corona High School has three players within the top 50 in our new player rankings led by Carlson, alongside pitcher Seth Hernandez and infielder Brady Ebel.

2025 MLB Draft Watch

RHP Marcus Phillips, Tennessee

Few players have seen their stock rise as quickly as Marcus Phillips, who has been dominant throughout the 2025 season. The right-hander consistently sits in the upper 90s, occasionally touching 100 mph, and complements his fastball with a mid-80s sweeper, an elite swing-and-miss pitch that keeps hitters off balance. Phillips commands both pitches at an above-average rate, all while showcasing a smooth, low-effort delivery. Teaming up with Liam Doyle to form an elite starting duo, he has firmly established himself as a must-watch prospect with the potential to climb even higher in future draft rankings.

OF Ethan Petry, South Carolina

Petry is a powerful right-handed hitter with a strong 6-foot-4, 235-pound frame, capable of driving the ball out of any ballpark. He set a South Carolina freshman record with 23 home runs in 2023, followed by 21 more as a sophomore before dominating the Cape Cod League, where he led in home runs (11 in 31 games), OPS (1.240), and slugging (.760), earning MVP and top prospect honors. Now hitting .359 for the Gamecocks, he has improved his pitch recognition and reduced his strikeout rate.
