Just Baseball's Top 100 Prospects for 2026 💯
Aram Leighton's new Top 100 List has dropped with detailed analysis of every top prospect in baseball.

If you’re a baseball sicko like the majority of us at Just Baseball, this time of year is pure bliss! We’ve got Spring Training off and running, the World Baseball Classic kicks off next week, and the MLB regular season is just a month away.
Before we can get to all that, one of our biggest pieces of content of the year dropped last week. Just Baseball’s Top 100 Prospects for 2026 by Aram Leighton is officially live!
We hosted our first-ever Top 100 Live Reveal Show last Wednesday, with the full Top 100 releasing on Thursday. We’ll highlight key elements of the list here today, but make sure to check out the full Top 100 for detailed reports on every prospect.
Top 10 Prospects

These prospects may be the future of baseball, so you might as well learn about them now! The top two have been clear-cut since around midseason 2025, but the rest of this group has shuffled around even since the end of the season.
Konnor Griffin has generational upside. I tend to refrain from terms of that nature, but it’s impossible to do so when it comes to the consensus top prospect in baseball. The 19-year-old might debut as a teenager and is the definition of a five-tool player.
Kevin McGonigle remains the clear number two. While he was dethroned by Griffin last year, McGonigle is a truly elite prospect in his own right with the best hit tool in MiLB and should be a key factor in Detroit this year.
Nolan McLean stands alone as the only top 10 pitcher. After an incredible first handful of MLB starts, McLean is set to pitch for the Mets during Opening Weekend and is the clear top pitching prospect in the game.
Aidan Miller soars into the elite tier. The newest addition to this group is Philly’s top prospect, who had an impressive second-half of 2025 and could become an X-factor for Philadelphia this season.

Top 100 by Team
The Mets lead the way despite just trading two Top 100 prospects. The new era of Mets baseball has not yet led to sustained success at the MLB level, but an elite farm system paired with an active GM granted a large budget is typically a good combination. Even after trading away Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat to bring in Freddy Peralta this offseason, New York still has the most top prospects in baseball.
Los Angeles and Milwaukee remain elite. These two are often near the top of this list and remain right there this time around. While the Dodgers do not have a top 20 prospect for the first time in many years, these farm systems are extremely loaded in terms of both top-end talent and depth.
Houston…is lacking young star power. The Astros are the only team without a name on this list, but they do have various players who could crack this list in the near future, headlined by recent first round pick Xavier Neyens.
Top 100 Newcomers
Dax Kilby could be the steal of the 2025 MLB Draft. Debuting at 76th on the list is the recent draft pick with just about the most hype surrounding him heading into 2026. Kilby had an excellent start to his pro career in September and has had a ton of buzz surrounding him this offseason.
Juneiker Caceres is a name to watch this season. The 18-year-old shined at the complex last season before reaching Single-A down the stretch within the Guardians organization.
The Cardinals’ farm system is heading in the right direction. After trading Sonny Gray and Brendan Donovan, St. Louis is committed to their future. Two new prospects in their system debut on this list, with the potential for others to join them in the near future.

Other Headlines
Michael Conforto is heading to the Cubs, and Rhys Hoskins is heading to the Guardians at the onset of Spring Training. Both signed minor league deals with those respective teams as they try to make the Opening Day roster in the next month.
