College Baseball Postseason Bracket 🏆⚾️
The NCAA Regionals kick off Friday as teams push to secure their ticket to the College World Series.

Before we fully dive into the regional bracket, the On the Clock team published one more Top 25 post conference tournaments. If you didn’t already catch up, we had staff at each covering every pitch, so check each one out!
One of the biggest days of the season kicked off the week with Selection Monday, as the long awaited bracket finally dropped from the committee and while questionable in some spots, we have to applaud most of the decisions.

Before we do our deep dive, some interesting decisions were made with this bracket:
No Big 12 Host
Virginia & Troy miss the Field of 64
Eight Big 12 teams in
North Carolina not a Top Four host
Let’s dive into a few brackets that are the most intriguing, in terms of upset potential, and easiest path to the promised land, Omaha.
Eugene Regional
The Oregon Ducks as the #12 one-seed ended up with arguably the hardest draw. While the Ducks landed in the Santa Barbara regional in 2024, and handled business to get into a super regional as a three-seed, the Ducks post season run could be cut short.
The two-seed Arizona Wildcats are coming off of their first Big 12 Championship in their first year in the conference, and are arguably one of the toughest two-seeds in the tournament.
Chip Hale has raved and talked in depth about the team being built around great starting pitching and between Owen Kramkowski, Smith Bailey, and Collin McKinney, they certainly have the depth on the mound to get through.
A high-powered offense and excellent pitching depth makes this team a really tough draw for the Ducks.
Three-seed Cal Poly coming off two-straight wins against UC Irvine to take home the Big West Championship will be no slouch for anybody in this regional, playing some of the best baseball of their season.
The Oregon Ducks are one of the highest hosts I have on upset watch next weekend as they’ll host arguably the deepest regional in the field.
Conway Regional
The committee sending the Florida Gators to Conway shows exactly how they feel about giving Mid Majors their shot to advance. Coastal Carolina will play host to the Gators, and a red hot East Carolina team that went on a late season run to secure an AAC Championship and get their auto bid.
We saw what Florida did as an arguable egregoius inclusion into the Field of 64, immediately proving everybody wrong with an Omaha run as a three-seed. With one of the most talented rotations in the entire country in Aidan King, Liam Peterson, and Pierce Coppola, the Gators are primed again for another run to Omaha under Head Coach Kevin O’Sullivan.
While Coastal has proved to the cream of the crop from the mid majors this season, and were in fact the last mid major team to win a National Championship, they’ll need to play their best baseball to get through, and if they do, they’ll head to Auburn to take on the Tigers.
Baton Rouge Regional
Finishing their season at 43-14, the LSU Tigers drew one of the friendliest regionals in the whole field. Two-seed Dallas Baptist, aka Dallas Bombers University, show a ton of pop, and with two solid arms in Micah Bucknam and James Ellwanger, should have the depth to hang around.
It’s hard to argue with what LSU can do on the pitching side with a nasty one-two punch between Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson, they have a chance to steamroll this regional.
Drawing Rhode Island as the three seed, and 24-32 Arkansas Little Rock thanks to an auto bid, LSU might be automatic to host a Super Regional. They would potentially face off with a very hot-and-cold Clemson team, who quite frankly may not even get out of their regional as they’ll deal with West Virginia and Kentucky.

Just Baseball Trivia of the Week
Our newsletter will have a trivia question every week to test and expand the baseball knowledge of our subscribers! The answer to the weekly trivia question will be at the bottom of the newsletter each week.
The Tennessee Volunteers look to complete two National Championships in a row after securing a regional host this year. Who was the last team to complete back-to-back National Titles?
A) Texas Longhorns
B) Arizona State Sun Devils
C) South Carolina Gamecocks
D) LSU Tigers
MLB Draft Players to Watch
While the entirety of the Field of 64 will be flush with draft talent, let’s scope in on a handful around the country.
Mason White SS - University of Arizona
The Wildcats’ shortstop comes in ranked at 120 in the Top 200 Prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft. While there is a fair amount of swing-and-miss in his game, White has punished the baseball tallying 16 home runs.
Also, White shows plus-speed that has played a role in his eight triples this season. There is a ton of draft talent on this Arizona team but I have my eyes on White after how he performed in Arlington.
MASON WHITE ARE YOU KIDDING ME💣💣💣 The @ArizonaBaseball SS has his second pump of the day, this time a 3-run shot and forces the Mountaineers into the bullpen
Free swinger but holy cow the ball JUMPS off his bat

Drew Burress OF - Georgia Tech
Drew Burress is the thump in the middle of the Georgia Tech lineup, and has a legitimate chance to be the 1.01 in 2026. One of my favorite parts of postseason baseball is that you can start to see the 2026 and 2027 guys on the biggest stage.
With 43 home runs and 128 RBI in two seasons at Georgia Tech, Burress has been a phenom since stepping on campus. Flashing ridiculous power and good defensive ability, he’s a one to watch in the Oxford regional as the Yellowjackets look to put the Rebels on upset watch.
Drew Burress when I'm in attendance since last Thursday:
9-for-9, 18 TB, 3 2B, 2 HR, 3 BB, 0 K
I think that's pretty good. Leads off today's game with a 106 EV HR on the second pitch he saw.

Liam Doyle LHP - Tennessee
Of course we have to include one of the best pitchers in college baseball. The #24 Prospect in the Top 200 for the 2025 MLB Draft topped out at 100 in Hoover last week.
Tennessee got a very interesting draw with Wake Forest and Cincinnati, two teams that play vastly different styles. The Vols will look to defend their 2024 National Title on the back of one of the biggest risers in the country.
Wasn’t Liam Doyle’s best outing but he showcased the stuff that makes him one of the top lefties in the draft. FB was 96-99 T 100. Went to the splitter often. Command struggled at times. The @JustBB_Media #24 overall prospect remains one of the top arms for the 2025 MLB Draft.

Trivia Answer: South Carolina
The Gamecocks pulled off back-to-back titles in 2010 and 2011, the last team to pull this off, we’ll see if Tennessee can do it in 2025!
