ALCS is Heating Up and Dodgers are Dominating 👀🔥
The Dodgers are dominating the NL side, while the Mariners jumped out quick but Toronto fought back in the ALCS.

Yeah, so for all the folks hoping for the demise of the Los Angeles Dodgers…that may not be happening, at least for now.
The two road teams in this year’s Championship Series have come out HOT by taking the first two games of their respective matchups to take commanding leads. While the Dodgers have a shot to go up 3-0 today, the Toronto Blue Jays did not allow that last night as their offense really woke up to make it a 2-1 series in Seattle against the Mariners.
Let’s get you caught on everything from the the ALCS and NLCS before these series keep rolling later today!
ALCS: Mariners vs. Blue Jays
After two games, this series looked like it could be a wrap before the start of the weekend. Jack McMullen even said so…
But after Seattle took the first two games in Toronto, the Blue Jays bounced back with a 13-run outburst in Game 3 and we have a real series on our hands now!
Cal, Julio, and “Playoff P” are leading the charge. I’m gonna say two things here, one that we all expected and one that if you expected, you’re crazy.
1.) Julio Rodriguez has put his stamp on this series
2.) Jorge Polanco has been the best clutch hitter on the planet lately
Can you tell which one’s the obvious one and which one is the surprise?
If any series comes down to bullpen, Seattle has the edge. The first two games of this series (and last week’s insane Game 5) showed just how incredible the Mariners bullpen is right now. Shoutout to Bryce Miller for a quality start too, but the bullpen throwing nine innings of shutout ball in the first two games was incredible. When you combine breakout stars like Eduard Bazardo with an elite back-end duo, you find success.
Andres Muñoz and Matt Brash this postseason:
12 IP
1 H
13 K
0.75 ERADynamic back of the bullpen duo.

Toronto is far from done…and that should scare Seattle. Just when it seemed like the Blue Jays may roll over after getting clobbered at home in Game 2, they came out guns blazing last night. They hung eight runs on George Kirby and look primed to make this thing a series. If Vladdy is back (Four hits last night), watch out. He’s out to break records this postseason. Oh, and Ernie Clement is still HIM.
The only players in MLB history with at least 13 hits, 4 HR, and 10 RBI through 7 postseason games:
Carlos Beltrán (2004)
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (2025) 🇨🇦No one is stopping Vladdy this October.

Shane Bieber was his best self when it mattered most. The Jays took a gamble by acquiring Bieber at the deadline as he finished recovering from Tommy John, but it could pay off in a big way if he leads them in this series. After getting taken deep by J-Rod in the first inning, the soon-to-be free agent fired up five scoreless innings and finished his night with a quality outing through six frames.
Max Scherzer takes the bump for the first time this postseason against Luis Castillo. It’s always fun seeing a legend at work, and that’s what we’ll get tonight. This could easily be the last time we see Scherzer is a playoff game, so enjoy a future Hall of Famer while you can.

NLCS: Dodgers vs. Brewers
Remember last offseason when everyone started to claim the Dodgers would win like five World Series in a row and dominate everyone?
Well, that energy faded during the season as they had an “underwhelming” 93-win season, but it might be returning.
This team, fully healthy now, looks unbeatable. They have handled the Milwaukee Brewers with ease through two games behind a pair of gems from two of their aces (they have a rotation full of them) and timely hitting from their insanely deep lineup.
Historic dominance from Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. These two have thrown all but one inning so far for the Dodgers and have been exceptional. I mean, this is absurd. The Dodgers pitching, when healthy, is unparalleled.
The Dodgers' starting pitchers this postseason:
52.2 IP
1.55 ERA
0.71 WHIP
63 K | 13 BBIncredible.

One of the craziest plays you will ever see. This play broke our brain. Watch for yourself to see one of the weirdest double plays possible.
WHAT IN THE WORLD JUST HAPPENED??
The Brewers somehow turn a DOUBLE PLAY on a ball that nearly left the yard for a grand slam!
That's an 8-6-2 double play for those keeping score at home 🤯

Everyone is stepping up while Ohtani and others struggle. The most terrifying thing about the Dodgers offense right now is that Shohei Ohtani, aside from one hit Tuesday, has been a complete non-factor. Teoscar Hernandez, Kiké Hernandez, Tommy Edman, and others have continued to show out when the top of the lineup has struggle for various periods.
Jackson Chourio is a superstar. Not many highlights so far in this one for the Brewers, but their young star is proving over and over how incredible he can be when the lights shine bright.
Players in MLB postseason history with at least 4 HR and 11 RBI through age 21:
Juan Soto
Miguel Cabrera
Andruw Jones
Jackson Chourio 🤯One of the greatest young playoff performers of all-time.

Trivia Answer: C) Teoscar Hernandez and Giancarlo Stanton
While Stanton hit seven last October, Hernandez has been mashing for two years in a row with the Dodgers in the postseason with four homers already and a 1.010 OPS this year.
